A WALK FOR FREEDOM An event to raise awareness and help eradicate human trafficking
We are pleased to announce that The John Woolman Memorial Association will be joining the In His Image Justice Coalition to host this year’s WALK FOR FREEDOM and we want to invite you — encourage you — to come to Mt. Holly to participate in this global fundraising and awareness event on October 19th, 2019 –rain or shine.
The In His Image Justice Coalition (IHIJC) is a local anti-human trafficking organization that has been working in the Mt. Holly area for the past 4 years. We will be hosting our 4th annual A21 Walk for Freedom, with The John Woolman Memorial Association, to support A21’s global anti-trafficking work. The Walk for Freedom will take place around the world on October 19, 2019, with over 20 countries participating worldwide. We will walk both to raise awareness about human trafficking and to raise funds for A21’s global anti-trafficking work. Walkers can invite friends and family members to “sponsor” them to raise funds. IHIJC is excited to be partnering with the John Woolman Memorial Association for this year’s walk!
Details are as follows:
Registration opens on the A21 website on July 30, 2019.
To register, go to a21.org/eastampton and follow the prompts.
You can register as an individual or as a team.
Team leaders register first, choosing a team name, and then share the team name and password with all those who wish to be on the team. They can then register as part of that team.
The Walk for Freedom is October 19, 2019 and begins and ends at the First Baptist Church of Mt. Holly, 1341 Woodlane Rd, Eastampton, NJ
The walk is under 3 miles.
The John Woolman Memorial is the half-way/turnaround point. Refreshments and information about the Memorial will be available during a brief rest period here before the walk continues on it’s way back to the First Baptist Church.
